On August 9, 2006 at 9:59 AM Squad 2 and Engine 23 were alerted to the 5500 block of Ketch Road in Calvert County for the two alarm building fire. Both units arrived on the scene, with the squad crew assisting in ventilation and the engine crew staging. Squad 2 operated on the scene for approximately one hour before returning home. Multiple units from Calvert County operated on the scene as well as Charles County Truck 1 (LaPlata) and Charles County Engines 52, 53 and Tanker 5 (Benedict).
