On September 8, 2010 at 10:15 AM units from Hughesville Fire and EMS and Dentsville EMS were alerted to Charles Street near Gilbert Run Park for the auto accident with injuries and a vehicle overturned. Engine 22 (Chief 2A Herbert) and Paramedic Ambulance 168 responded at dispatch with six personnel. Units arrived to find a two vehicle collision with one vehicle on it’s side. All occupants were out of both vehicles and both vehicles received extensive damage. One patient was transported by ground to an area trauma center, while the other patient was transported by ground to a local hospital.
