On Sunday September 21, 2008 at 12:26 AM Squad 2 was alerted to the 23,600 block of Aquasco Road in Prince George’s County for the auto accident with injuries. Moments later the Benedict Fire Department and Hughesville EMS were alerted to the call also. Squad 2 and Paramedic Ambulance 27 arrived to find a single vehicle over the guardrail and into a tree. The lone occupant was out of the car and on the shoulder of the road. He suffered serious injuries and was medevaced from the scene by US Park Police Eagle 2. Benedict Engine 53 was re-routed to a nearby field and set up the landing zone. Squad 2 cleared at 1:24 AM.
