On November 2, 2009 at 9:19AM units from Hughesville, Benedict and the Charles County Career EMS were alerted to Leonardtown Road and Gallant Green Road for the auto accident with injuries and people trapped after Chief 2A (Herbert) discovered this accident. Chief 2A established the command and reported one person trapped. Paramedic Ambulance 27 and Squad 2 arrived and began the extrication. After forcing one door, removing another and cutting the “B” post out crews from Hughesville and Benedict removed the trapped driver. Three patients were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
