On October 7, 2009 at 3:42 AM units from Hughesville Fire and EMS and surrounding companies were alerted to Prince Frederick Road at Thorne Place for the auto accident with injuries, reported vehicle overturned with people trapped. Squad 2, Engine 22 and Paramedic Ambulance 27 responded with 13 personnel. Units arrived to find a passenger car that had left the roadway and rolled end over end at least once. The driver was trapped inside and was the lone occupant. Squad 2 deployed the Hurst tool and removed two doors to free the patient. Paramedic Ambulance 27 transported the driver to a nearby trauma center. Squad 2 cleared at 4:11 AM.
