On Saturday October 3, 2009 Hughesville Fire and EMS held it’s annual open house from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Approximately 20 members were on hand to answer questions from those who attended. Many citizens came by to check out our apparatus, ask questions and show their appreciation for the job we do. Children were allowed to climb on the apparatus as well as put on fire gear. Free hot dogs, chips and drinks were handed out as well. A good time was had by all.
