On 05-07-08 at 9:46 PM, members were on the front ramp enjoying the nice weather when they heard tires squealing and a collision. One member went to investigate and found a vehicle on it’s side on the off ramp from southbound Rt.5 to Prince Frederick Road, with a female trapped inside. Hughesville and Benedict volunteers were alerted to the call. Units from Hughesville arrived, stabilized the vehicle and removed the lone occupant prior to the arrival of any other units. The driver was not injured and refused treatment or transport. Units cleared at 10:35 PM.
