On Sunday May 6th at 10:56pm the Hughesville volunteers were alerted to Route 5 just south of Bryantown Road for the Motor Vehicle Accident. As Squad 2 responded with the Sgt.(Harris) and 4 the assingment was upgraded to “Subjects Trapped” bringing Engine 23 with the Captain(Carroll) and 3. Units arrived on scene to find a vehicle which had struck several trees with one trapped. The patient was extricated and transported priority 3 to a local hospital.
