On May 5, 2007 at 9:30 AM units were alerted to the 12600 block of LaPlata Road for the auto accident with injuries. Squad 2, Paramedic Ambulance 27, Paramedic Ambulance 28, Utility 2 and Chief 2A (Thomas) responded at the time of dispatch with thirteen personnel. Units arrived to find a three vehicle accident with four patients. Two patients were still in a van that was unstable in a ditch. The squad crew stabilized the vehicle with cribbing and the Paratech Stabilization Kit and assisted EMS with removing both patients. Three patients were transported to local hospitals and one patient refused treatment or transport. Chief 2A (Thomas) was the incident commander and units cleared at 10:23 AM.
