On August 17, 2003 at 1328 hrs Mechanicsville Fire, Mechanicsville’s and Hughesville’s EMS were alerted for a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle at Three Notch Road and Thompson Corner Road.

At 1333 hrs Mechanicsville Squad 2 and Ambulance 296 arrived on the scene and found two patients who were riding on the motorcycle and one patient from the vehicle. Patient care was initiated before a helicopter was requested to medevac both patients who were on the motorcycle. A third ambulance from Mechanicsville was requested to treat the driver of the car.

Ambulance 27 cleared the scene at 1423Hrs.
