On Saturday June 3, 2006 the Hughesville Volunteer Fire and EMS, along with the Mechanicville Volunteer Fire Department attended McKay’s Kids Festival held at McKay’s Foodland in Charlotte Hall. While there, we educated the participants on Fire Prevention, answered questions, and passed out Fire prevention materials. The children really enjoyed the plastic fire helmet and coloring book packets. We also gave tours and answered questions about the Squad 2, and Ambulance 27.
