During the early morning hours of June 9th Hughesville Volunteers responded mutual aid for a reported working trailer fire just off of Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall. Tanker 2 arrived on the scene dropping a supply line at Rt. 5. Upon arrival, on the scene, crews found one trailer completely involved on the ground and one trailer well off. Crews from Hughesville, Mechanicville and Waldorf initiated an aggressive attack on the remaining structure using 3 attack lines from Tanker 2 to control the fire. Units remained on the scene for approximately two and a half hours before clearing the call. The Maryland State Fire Marshal Office is investigating this fire.
