On 06-14-06 at 4:15 AM, Hughesville volunteers and surrounding companies were alerted to the Hughesville Quik Shop for the building fire. 911 callers were reporting a vehicle fire next to the gas pumps. Engine 22, Tanker 2 and Chief 2B arrived to find a working vehicle fire and the vehicle had been moved away from the gas pumps. Chief 2B held units from Hughesville only and returned the remainder of the assignment. Engine 22 and Tanker 2 cleared at 4:40 AM. The fire was accidental.
