On 09-29-04 at 11:37 a.m., units from Hughesville Fire and EMS and Benedict EMS were alerted to Leonardtown Road and Prince Frederick Road for the auto accident with injuries.

Squad 2 and Ambulance 27 arrived to find a two vehicle accident with one injured person. The squad crew opened and removed the driver’s door with the “Hurst” tool in order to remove the driver of one of the vehicles. That patient was transported by Ambulance 27 and the driver of the other vehicle was taken from the scene by the Maryland State Police.
