On September 9th at 1725 hours, Hughesville Volunteers along with surrounding departments were alerted to the 5200 block of Gallant Green Road for the vehicle in water. Squad 2, Battalion 2C and Paramedic Ambulance 28 responded. Upon arrival, Battalion 2C assumed the command after locating a single vehicle disabled in high water.

Both occupants were provided Personal Flotation Devices (PFD’s) by members from Squad 2 and assisted out of the water to safety. The occupants were evaluated by Paramedic Ambulance 28 and Battalion 2C cancelled the additional responding units. After evaluation, the occupants of the vehicle refused transport and were released on the scene.
