On September 9th at approximately 10:50 PM, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to Oaks Road in the area of Oliver’s Shop Road for the vehicle fire. Engine Tanker 2 responded. Upon arrival Engine Tanker 2 discovered a Chevy Silverado with the passenger compartment fully involved. The crew quickly extinguished the fire and turned the scene over to local law enforcement.
