On February 22nd at 0925 hours, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to the 28900 Block of Livingston Drive in Mechanicsville for the structure fire. Tanker 2 made the response. Mechanicsville Volunteers arrived on the scene to find a 2 story single family residence with fire on both floors. Upon arrival, Tanker 2 was requested to the scene to nurse Mechanicsville’s Engine until water supply could be established. After water supply was established and Tanker 2 was empty, Tankeresponded to 84 Lumber in Mechanicsville to refill. After refilling, Tanker 2 returned to the scene and staged until being released by Command. Tanker 2 operated on scene for approximately 2 hours.
