At 1414 hours, Squad 2 was alerted for a house fire on Council Oak Drive in Waldorf. Units from Waldorf Station 3 and 12 arrived on the scene to find the siding on side Delta on fire, with smoke showing from the eaves of the home. Squad 2 was second arriving special service behind La Plata Truck 1 and assisted crews with opening up the dwelling to check for extension. There was minimal extension found. The Incident Commander held the assignment with Engines from Waldorf, La Plata Truck 1 and Hughesville Squad 2. The Squad crew cleared within 45 minutes and returned to service.

Minutes before this assignment Engine 23 and Tanker 2 responded to P.G County for a reported Hazmat spill at Chalk Point Power Plant. Units staged for 10 minutes and were placed in service by Chief 836. Call was held as good intent.
