On 10-24-07 at 7:06 AM units from Hughesville Fire and EMS and surrounding companies were alerted to the 16500 block of Arabian Court for the working house fire. Tanker 2 responded first with a crew of four. While enroute information was relayed to responding units that the power company (SMECO) was on the scene with fire in the attic. Tanker 2 arrived to find a two story, single family residence with smoke showing from the roof. An attack line was stretched to the attic where crews found a small fire in the insulation. Command held units from Hughesville, Benedict and Calvert Tower 2. After extensive overhaul units cleared at 8:40 AM.
