On Sunday May 28th, 2023 Hughesville Volunteers had the opportunity to assist the All American Harley Davidson H.O.G. Chapter with their departure for “Rolling to Remember”. The Rolling to Remember event is hosted every year to bring awareness to the mental health crisis stealing thousands of veterans lives a year.

Engine 24, Tanker 2 and EMS Utility 2 met the group at All American Harley. The group departed at 0800 to ride to the Pentagon under police escort by Charles County Sheriffs Office, St Mary’s County Sheriffs Office, Calvert County Sheriffs Office, Prince George’s County Police Department, Maryland National Captial Park Police, Metropolitan Police Department DC, and the US Capital Police. Hughesville Volunteers closed north and southbound Leonardtown Road while the group departed.
