On 08-26-06 as units returned from the barn fire, a motorcycle accident was dispatched on Emory Place off of Oaks Road. Engine 23, Squad 2, Ambulance 27 and EMS Chief 2B responded and arrived to find one victim with serious injuries. A medevac helicopter was requested and Maryland State Police Trooper 2 responded. Charles County Medic 609 arrived and assisted Ambulance 27’s crew with packaging the patient. The patient was medevaced to an area trauma center. Units operated on the scene for a little more than 1 hour.
