On January 6, 2007 at 3:04 PM units from Hughesville Fire and EMS and other surrounding companies were alerted to Leonardtown Road in the area of Deborah Drive for the motorcycle accident. Squad 2, Ambulance 27, Chief 2 (Herbert), Chief 2A (Thomas) and EMS Chief 2A (Svites) arrived to find a single vehicle motorcycle accident with two victims. Both victims required medevacs and Maryland State Police Trooper 7 responded. Command held Squad 2, Ambulance 27 and St. Mary’s Ambulance 295 as well as MSP Trooper 7. Engine 23 handled the landing zone nearby. Chief 2 had the command and units cleared at 3:48 PM.
