On December 3rd at 12:58 pm, Hughesville Volunteers along with surrounding agencies were alerted to Leonardtown Road in the area of Bryantown Road for the motor vehicle collision with subjects trapped. Squad 2, Paramedic Ambulance 28 and Ambulance 27 all responded. Safety 12 arrived on scene first and advised there was a “door pop” and several patients for transport. Squad 2 arrived and established the Leonardtown Road command. The crew located multiple vehicles in the collision and determined all occupants were out of the vehicle and no extrication was needed. Command requested additional EMS units to the scene to assist with patient care and transport. A total of 5 ambulances were utilized to facilitate the transport of all injured parties to the hospital. Units cleared the scene and turned it over to MSP for investigation.
