On May 7, 2005 at 2:58 PM units from Hughesville and Benedict Fire Departments were alerted to the 14200 block of Burnt Store Road for the mobile home on fire. Engine 23 arrived to find light smoke showing and advanced the 100′ bumper line into the home. Crews found the bulk of the fire out with some extension into the walls and ceiling behind the refrigerator. Crews operated on the scene for approximately 45 minutes opening it up and extinguishing the hot spots. The fire was accidental. Chief 2A (Herbert) was the incident commander.
