On 12/06/04 at 5:15 AM Station 2 was alerted mutual aid to the Hunters Brooke Subdivision located on Hawthorne Road just east of Potomac Heights, for multiple houses on fire. Engine 23, Tanker 2 and Chief 2B responded. Engine 23’s crew assisted in extinguishing the fires and also with overhaul operations. Tanker 2 supplied water to NDW Engine 202. The fire is under investigation by the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Fire Marshal, Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF).
