On 04-19-04 at 11:42 AM units from Hughesville Co.2 and Benedict Co.5 were alerted to the 14900 block of Burnt Store Road for the brush fire. Hughesville Volunteers responded with Engines 24, 25 and Tanker 2.

Units from Hughesville arrived to find approximately 1/2 acre of land cover burning. The fire was contained and the brush truck from Benedict was placed in service. Units from Hughesville operated on the scene for approximately 45 minutes.
