Committee members traveled back to Wisconsin for the final inspection of Engine 22. Several minor issues were found and addressed with Pierce representatives, but overall the committee was again satisfied with what they found. Initially, Engine 22 was going to be lettered and striped in Charles County, but the decision was made to have it done at the Pierce plant. Therefore it will be done within the next couple of days. Once completed, it will travel to Singer Associates to receive several “dealer supplied” items and get checked over there. After a couple of days there it will be delivered to Hughesville, somewhere around March 24, 2008.
Note: The blue tape seen in the pictures are areas where minor issues were located.
