On March 4th 2007 at 4:13 PM, the Hughesville volunteers were alerted to Wilkerson Road for the personal injury accident involving a motorcycle. Squad 2 with Chief 2A (Thomas), Ambulance 27 with EMS Chief 2B (Cole) and Paramedic Ambulance 28 went on the air immediately after dispatch, and arrived on the scene to find a dirt bike that had struck a small trailer with one patient. Chief 2A advised that the patient had a serious laceration to the lower leg and requested Trooper 7. The patient was transported by Trooper 7 to Children’s Hospital Center. All units cleared shortly after that.
