The Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, Inc. send our regrets to the family of Mr. Neale Slater. Neale was an active member with the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department and the Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad. He was employed as a Maryland State Police Cadet, working at the weigh scales in Upper Marlboro. Neale was beginning his career with MSP and hoped to one day become a flight paramedic.

We know that Neale was an important member of MSP and a valued asset to both Mechanicsville Volunteer Departments. We ask that everyone keep his family and friends in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
