On November 1st at approximately 1:16 pm, Hughesville volunteers were alerted to the 3900 block of Northgate Place for a structure fire. Squad 2 made the response. First units from Waldorf arrived on the scene to find a “working” fire inside the residence. Station 2 was alerted for the working fire upgrade, which added Engine 22 on the response. Squad 2 arrived on scene and assisted with checking for any exposure of the attached townhouses.

Engine 22 was placed in service prior to arrival and handled a fill in at Waldorf Station 3 until units cleared the fire ground.
