On July 27th, some of your Hughesville Volunteers took in some pumps training on the down time between calls.

Engine Tanker 2 responded to the SMECO draft site, where we had current pump operators and pump operators in training practice on drafting techniques with and without a primer. After completing the evolutions, Engine Tanker 2 responded back to the station.

Once at the station, Squad 2 was utilized to relay pump to Engine Tanker 2 from the hydrant at the station.

These evolutions ensure that your volunteers are prepared for any situation that may arise. We strive to provide the best service to our citizens and surrounding areas.
