On March 2, 2009 at 6:48 AM Squad 2 was alerted to assist with a multi-family house fire at 2050 Nike Drive. Heavy snow was falling in the county with several inches already on the ground. First arriving Chief 3B (Mills) reported a two story multi-family dwelling with heavy fire showing from the second floor, side “C”. Waldorf Engine 33 arrived next and made entry into the fire apartment to begin suppression efforts. Other units arrived to assist, including Squad 2 who assisted in the exposure apartment. Squad 2 assisted on the scene for approximately two and a half hours.
