On 10-22-07 Squad 2 was alerted to assist on an auto accident in the 13100 block of Poplar Hill Road. Engine 23 was on a fire prevention and headed back towards the station. Squad 2 responded with 2 personnel and had Engine 23 respond to make up staffing. Units from Hughesville arrived and assisted in stabilizing a vehicle that was on it’s side, on an embankment and into a pole. Also the driver’s door was cribbed, because of the position of the vehicle and location of the patient. Once the vehicle and driver’s door were secure, the roof was removed and the patient was pulled from the vehicle. Squad 2 and Engine 23 operated for a little over 1 hour.
