On Wednesday Aug. 15th 2007 at 4:55 p.m. the Hughesville Volunteers along with units from Baden, Waldorf, and Charles County Emergency Services, were alerted to Gallant Green and Woodville roads for the motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Squad 2 and Paramedic Ambulance 28 immediately marked up, followed by Engine 23. Units arrived on scene to find a two vehicle head-on collision with subjects trapped in both vehicles. The crews from Squad 2 and Engine 23 immediately went to work stabilizing both vehicles and extricating both victims. Once extricated both patients were flown to P.G. Trauma Center by Troopers 2 and 7. All units cleared at 6:06 p.m.
