On 09-12-06 at 6:23 AM Tanker 2 was alerted to assist with a large mulch pile on fire in Newburg. Units from Newburg and surrounding companies were already on the scene with a working fire. Tanker 2 shuttled four loads of water from the Morgantown Power Plant to the dump site. After copious amounts of water was pour on the fire with little progress, the decision was made to allow the pile to burn. Tanker 2 operated on the scene for just under three hours.
