On 12-03-09 at 11:40AM units from Hughesville Fire and EMS as well as Charles County Rescue Squad and the career EMS Duty Officer responded to Woodville Road and Young Road for the motorcycle accident. Chief 2A (Herbert) was the first to arrive. He reported two injured and one signed refusal. Engine 22 and Paramedic Ambulance 27 arrived and began evaluating both patients. One patient on the motorcycle signed a refusal and one was medevaced from the scene. The driver of the other vehicle (jeep) was also medevaced from the scene. Engine 22 handled the landing site for Trooper 2 on a nearby street. Units operated for just under one hour.
