On July 17th just after 8PM, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to Oaks Rd and Independence Dr for the motor vehicle collision. Squad 2 made the response. Squad 2 arrived on scene to find a single vehicle that struck a tree. The operator of the vehicle was okay and did not require medical attention. Squad 2 removed part of the tree to allow the tow truck access to remove the vehicle. Once the vehicle was removed, the tree was cleared from the roadway.
