On February 3, 2010 at 5:25AM as light snow fell in the area units from Hughesville Fire and EMS were alerted to Prince Frederick Road and Wimbush Drive for the auto accident with injuries. Engine 22 and Paramedic Ambulance 27 responded with 10 personnel and arrived to find a 5 vehicle accident. Engine 22 established the Prince Frederick Road command and after conducting a scene assessment found one patient trapped. A total of six people were evaluated with only two requiring transports. Paramedic Ambulance 27 and St. Mary’s Ambulance 296 (Mechanicsville) handled the transports. Engine 22 cleared at 6:14AM.
