On 12-23-05 at 3:05 PM Hughesville firefighters were alerted to Bosse Drive in the Country Lakes subdivision in St. Mary’s County for the house fire with people trapped. Engine 22 and Tanker 2 responded with 7 personnel. Engine 22 was the second arriving pumper behind Mechanicsville Engine 23. Engine 22 picked up their line at the hydrant and the crew assisted with extinguishment. Hughesville volunteers operated on the scene for over 4 hours. There was nobody home at the time of the fire.
