On 11-21-10 at 9:34PM, units from Hughesville Fire and EMS, Waldorf Fire and EMS and Dentsville EMS were alerted to the 6100 block of Oliver Shop Road for the auto accident with entrapment. Squad 2, Engine 22 and Paramedic Ambulance 27 responded with 12 personnel and arrived to find a two vehicle head-on type crash, with two injuries. Upon scene size up it was found that none of the patients were trapped and the assignment was scaled back with Command holding the units from Co. 2 and A158 only. One patient was transported by Dentsville Ambulance 158 to a local hospital and one patient was treated by Paramedic Ambulance 27’s crew and subsequently flown to an area trauma center by MSP Trooper 2. Units operated for approximately one hour.
