On February 25, 2010 at 10:33PM units from Hughesville Fire and EMS and surrounding companies were alerted to the 14,600 block of Oaks Road for the working shed fire. Engine 23 responded at dispatch with 6 personnel and arrived to find a single story shed fully involved with a car inside. Crews advanced two 1 3/4″ attack lines to control and extinguish the fire. Command held all units from Hughesville as well as Engine 5 and Tanker 5. Engine 23 and Chief 2B (Hutchinson) remained on the scene to await the Fire Marshal and assisted him with his investigation. Engine 23 operated on the scene for 3 hours.
