On December 8th at approximately 12:43 am, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to Watson Road for the brush fire. Engine 24, Tanker 2, Engine Tanker 2 responded. Units arrived on scene to find an approximately 50′ x 50′ area with minor extension to a detached shed. Units quickly extinguished the fire and ensured there was no extension to the inside contents of the shed. Units operated for approximately 45 minutes.
