On December 31, 2006 at approximately 6:10 AM, units from Hughesville Fire and EMS and the Dentsville EMS were alerted to the 14600 block of Charles Street for the auto accident. Units arrived to find a single vehicle accident, where the vehicle had rolled over several times. A medevac helicopter was requested and Maryland State Police Trooper 2 responded. The landing zone was established by Squad 2 on the scene. The victim was medevaced to an area trauma center. Squad 2 cleared at 7:12 AM. Chief 2A (Thomas) had the command.
