On Wednesday March 7th at 6:44 PM, Squad 2 and EMS 2 were alerted to Rt. 5 in the area of Mitchell’s Supply for the motor vehicle accident with a pickup overturned. Squad 2 responded with the Safety Officer (Herbert Sr.) and 6 personnel, followed by Paramedic Ambulance 28. Squad 2 arrived on scene to find one vehicle overturned in a ditch alongside the roadway, with both occupants out of the vehicle and advised the Paramedic Ambulance that they could go in service. Crews secured power to the vehicle and placed absorbent around the vehicle to soak up leaking gasoline. Squad 2 cleared the scene at 1904 hours.
