Extrication Collision

On November 29th at approximately 0014 hours, Squad 2 was alerted to the 3300 block of Western Parkway in Waldorf for the Motor Vehicle Collision with entrapment. While responding, RE12 from Waldorf arrived on scene with a vehicle overturned and confirming 2 trapped. Units from Waldorf station 12 and 3 immediately went to work stabilizing the vehicle and beginning extrication. Squad 2 arrived on scene and was assigned extrication functions. The crew from Squad 2 assisted with removing the roof and freeing the trapped occupants. Once free the patients were transported to area hospitals. Squad 2 operated for approximately 20 minutes. The scene was turned over to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office to complete the investigation.
