Calvert House Fire

On April 14th at approximately 1:01 p.m., Hughesville Volunteer crews were dispatched to the 1000 block of Clay Hammond Road in Calvert County for a house fire. Engine Tanker 2, Tanker 2, and Chief 2A responded to the incident. Units arrived at the scene within a short time.
Engine Tanker 2 and Chief 2A were assigned to suppression efforts on Division 2 inside the structure. The driver of Engine Tanker 2 provided water to support fireground operations. Tanker 2 remained in staging and was not utilized during the water supply operation.
Crews operated at the scene for just over an hour before being released.
