Mechanicsville Brush Fire

On January 22nd at approximately 2:45 pm, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to the 29000 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville for the brush fire. Engine 22, Tanker 2 and Brush 2 made the response. Mechanicsville volunteers arrived to find an approximate 100' x 50' fire spreading. Mechanicsville and Hughesville Volunteers worked together to extinguish the fire. Units operated on the scene for approximately 60 minutes before clearing.
