Brush fire

On January 21st at approximately 2:45 PM, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to Wood Glen Drive for a brush fire. Chief 2, Engine tanker 2, Tanker 2, Engine 22 and Brush 2 made the response. Chief 2 arrived on scene to find a brush fire that extended into a log pile. Brush 2 began extinguishing the fire while Engine Tanker 2 supplied them. Engine 154 from Dentsville VFD arrived and assisted. Tanker 2 and Engine 22 arrived to supply manpower and assist with water supply. Units operated for just over an hour.
