MVC Extrication

On May 25th at approximately 1100 AM, Hughesville Volunteers and surrounding departments were alerted to Prince Frederick Rd and Goode are for the Motor Vehicle Collision involving multiple motorcycles and one trapped. Squad 2, Paramedic Ambulance 28, and Battalion 2C responded.
Squad 2 arrived on scene to find two motorcycles and 2 passenger vehicles involved in the collision with one of the vehicle occupants trapped. Squad 2 immediately extricated the driver by removing the drivers door to gain access. Battalion 2C held command and requested additional ambulances for transporting the victims.
Paramedic Ambulance 28 assessed the driver of one of the motorcycles and requested a helicopter brining trooper 2 to the scene for transport. Dentsville Engine 151 handled the landing site at the SMECO helicopter pad. In total 3 patients were transported to area hospitals.
