Motor Vehicle Collision with Entrapment

On September 2nd, 2020 at 0949 hours, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to the 8200 block of Keech Road (Dentsville VFD 1st due) for the motor vehicle collision with entrapment. Squad 2, Engine 22 and Paramedic Ambulance 28 responded. Paramedic Ambulance 28 arrived to find a single vehicle collision with the vehicle on it's side. Crews from Engine 151 and Squad 2 stabilized the vehicle and began extrication of the driver. Mechanicsville Squad 2 arrived and provided assistance with the extrication. Units flapped the roof and the driver was removed from the vehicle and treated by Paramedic Ambulance 28, where he was transported to an area trauma center.
